bookclud may 29th
Hello
lovelies de
The
book I've chosen is Pope Joan by Donna Woolfolk Cross.
See
you all Tuesday, May 29th 630pm. I will be living with my brother by that time so
I will be hopefully holding the bookclub at his home in sandy. I will send out
the address soon. It is close to Jill's house.
Happy
Cinco de Mayo and super moon Saturday!! One of the biggest full moon's of the
year in Scorpio. Powerful energy!
Love
you all!
Hello Dearies!
Planning on seeing you all tonight. Pams you're welcome to come
with T and me- and we'd have room for one more if any downtowners want to join.

Rebecca,
Thank
you for a wonderful evening. I couldn't believe the salad tasted even better
than it looked. It was so beautiful!
Thanks
also to everyone for your willingness to indulge my request for a conversation
about your feelings regarding book club. I was touched by your honesty and
willingness to be vulnerable. That conversation is exactly why I value my
relationship with each of you so much!!
I
love you women and honor each of you in your daily lives. Have a marvelous
week.
Blessings,
jill
PS
so excited about meeting in gabrielle's garden in June!! The pictures are gorgeous
gabs!!
I
think I am going to read my brother mark's book. The Shadow Zodiac!
Thank
you so much all of you beautiful friends for coming last night! I am so
grateful to have you all in my life! It was simply divine to sit outside with all
of you and enjoy the dreamy night!
Katy
and Kay -we missed you.
I
truly woke up this morning with a big smile on my face. What a
great night! Reb, what a delicious meal, and the evening, Mark’s amazing
backyard and the view were most amazing. You are a great hostess! And I
love Pope Joan ~ Jill thanks for the loan.
I
feel so blessed to have you all in my life. I too so appreciated the
sharing. So good to know that we are all just doing our best to make our
way through this sometimes crazy life! And that we have a beautiful group
of women who fully love and support us along the way. I am so grateful
for that knowing!
Kay
and Katy, you were missed!
Sue
~ please keep us posted this weekend. Can’t wait to hear about it!
Gabi,
I am so excited to gather in your most beautiful space in June. I have
two books on my nightstand that I am deciding between; Imagine: How Creativity
Works by Jonah Lehrer, and Ali in Wonderland by Ali Wentworth. I’ll let
you know which one wins!
Looking
forward to interesting conversation, and a great check in, as always! ;)
Big
hugs,
Mindy
Gabi,
I’m already salivating thinking about house-made pizza and other
divinities I know you’re dreaming up.
Thank you for this inspiring opportunity to choose our own book to share.
Mindy, you and I are walking the same mental line right now; I,
too, just started Imagine, so maybe we can offer up that discussion
together!
Just a thought.. J (After all my comments last night, yes, I am reading a non-fiction
“self-help” book!!! Kick me!)
Becca, you’re a shimmering tan goddess of hosting. Thank you for
the excellent food and welcoming spirit.
Thanks, all, for listening to my work woes. Love you all so much!
Katy and Kay—and Lisa across the ocean blue—love to you too!

HI
all!
It was so fun seeing everyone at Becca's(Mark's) last night! It was like I
never left! Cause really I didn't.
Becs, thanks so much for the delicious food, sunset, photos, and great
discussion. We finally got to discussing the book with 4 of us left :) LOL!
Gabi, I will be there with baby next month! I'll be reading Girl in Translation
by Jean Kwok, I think, I'll let you know if I change. Can't wait to try the
pizza!!!! WaWoo!
And I will email or text you all about the baby, and FB it, too. Can't wait.
Went to midwife today, she checked me, I am still a 1 1/2, and 50% thinned out.
But I have been having Braxton Hicks all day, hoping when she checked me
something happened :)
Love you all!
Sue
Go Sue!!!
It was such a joy having you back. It WAS almost like you never
left, but were just on holiday! J
Bookclods,
I am truly so, so
grateful for such an absolutely delightful night under that stars with you all
this week. I missed our world
travelers..katy, kay and lisa and wish you safe journey while you are away from
us.
Rebecca, what a delicious
meal, a perfect setting and fabulous book!
As it turns out, the premise of discovering the “hidden feminine when
masculine thinks it is in charge” took over our whole discussion for the evening
in the form of a wonderful discussion of all our individual and group
undiscovered truths for how our needs are being met, our connections and spirit
felt even when the structure of monthly meeting and reading a book sometimes
thinks it knows what we need. I feel really
blessed to hear the sharing of each of you, adapting to the questions and
sentiments of the evening, and honor deeply the need you each have to create a
bookclub that serves many deep and intriguing spaces within you all. Little did Pope Joan know she would be
setting powerful women into orbit hundreds of years after her service.
Thank you Rebecca for all
your wonderful planning and hosting on our behalf!
I really did love the
book and am looking forward to gabi’s “reader’s choice” …I have had this book
of poetry on my bedside table forever that I am leaning towards diving into…it
is called “Blood, Tin, Straw” …I’ll keep y’all posted
